8-FX Diet Pill Review
Critic's Top Pick
We're often asked if we ever rate a diet pill positively. The answer is that we do (rarely). Why don't we recommend 8-FX? We're looking for clinically-researched ingredients, at the clinical dosage. There are a few diet pills that have chosen to take this high road, and our favorite is Apidexin. You can read our review or go to the official site.
The eight points in the 8-FX diet pill are thyroid, thermogenesis, metabolism, fat breakdown, fat oxidation, energy expenditure, neuro factor 1, intensity and focus. Address all these eight points and you’ll lose weight, according to 8-FX anyway. Let’s take a look.
Ingredients
- Chromium 200 mcg
- Neuravena Wild Green Oat Extract
- Caffeine
- DMAE
- Coleus Forskohlii Extract
- Advantra Z Bitter Orange Extract
- Lardex Green Tea Extract
- Cnidium Extract
- Yohimbe Extract
- Japanese Knotweed Extract
Chromium-Helps regulate blood sugar levels. While it has been proven that chromium is needed to regulate your blood sugar, the jury is still out as to whether or not this correlates directly with weight loss–more research is needed.
Caffeine, Green Tea-Stimulants that will help boost your energy levels and may help raise your metabolism.
Advantra Z-A patented formula whose active ingredient is synephrine. Advantra Z is taken from citrus aurantium, also known as bitter orange. Synephrine is likely to be an effective weight loss ingredient in a weight loss pill. While synephrine is claimed not to have some of the same side effect as caffeine may have (such as the jitters), it is a stimulant–so if you are sensitive to stimulants, use with caution.
Watch out for the jitters
The stimulants in 8-FX are actually pretty good diet pill ingredients–just watch out for the jitters. If you are super sensitive to stimulants, this diet pill might not be for you, but if you are looking for a quick energy boost, this diet pill might be a possibility. There aren’t any harmful ingredients in 8-FX (i.e. ephedra) and many of them have been shown to help you lose weight. So as far as ingredients go, 8-FX doesn’t look half bad, but will these ingredients really address all of the eight points 8-FX claims to? Probably not.
8-FX’s Marketing
8-FX’s marketers claim that “Exhaustive research now reveals that your body employs 8 mechanisms of fat loss. You begin stripping off fat the moment you can affect all 8 points.” This “research” is what 8-FX’s entire marketing strategy is based upon. But the only research that is referred to on the 8-FX website is “in-vitro laboratory testing.” I’m not sure what this means because there is no explanation and no link to a research study. So basically these marketers are making up eight points based on some research that we know nothing about (and they probably don’t know a lot about it either). What I do like about this marketing, however, is that they don’t claim that 8-FX is a quick-fix; they encourage customers to maintain a healthy diet and exercise, which is critical for anyone who wants to lose weight.
8-FX Price
You can purchase 8-FX at independent retailers and I found prices ranging from $30 to $50.
8-FX Guarantee
The individual retailers who sell 8-FX may have their own guarantees, but I wouldn’t ever count on it. I would say this product is buy at your own risk.
Conclusion
Basically, 8-FX is trying to tell you that it can address the eight key areas that are critical for weight loss. The problem is that this company doesn’t have any research to back up their claims about these eight areas. The ingredients in this diet pill, however, aren’t all that bad. But again, there’s no guarantee on the product so if you do purchase it, you’ve got to fork out the $30 to $50 for 80 pills. Because of these factors, I’m giving 8-FX a mixed review. It’s not the best out there, but it’s definitely not the worst.
