The thing that caught our attention on this particular acai pill is that they don’t just bank on the inclusion of acai, but rather have other solid weight loss ingredients included as well.

Ingredients

Chromium – Has been shown to effectively help regulate blood sugar levels which may help with (although maybe not cause) weight loss.

Green Tea - Green tea is one of the few ingredients that has been proven to aid in weight loss. It is an effective fat burner as it increases your metabolic rate. Green tea is backed by mounds of clinical research. So we back it as a good ingredient.

Caffeine - A an effective stimulant and diuretic, caffeine has also been proven to aid in weight loss. Caffeine’s ability to dramitically increase your energy and to increase your metabolism has been proven time and time again.

Their website is pretty straight forward with a focus on ingredients which we like. They are open about the need to include other effective ingredients aside from acai, which is another plus.

They do have an autoship program available. Normally we call out companies with autoship programs as being deceptive and sneaky. Acai Berry Select, however, is very clear and open about theirs. They give you the option to only buy the product or to have them send you pills automatically every month. The difference between them and other companies is that most others hide the the autoship in their terms and conditions that no one ever reads.

Update: It appears that Acai Berry Select no longer offers an option to only buy the product by themselves. They are now using the same tactic as many others and try to get you to accept a ‘free trial’ and then enroll you in their autoship program. They are no longer open and clear about their auto ship. So be careful with the free trial as it may come back to bite you if you are not expecting them to start charging your card automatically.

They have a 90 day guarantee on all unopened and opened bottles. We like to see anything 90 days or more in this industry. Not many diet pills allow you to return empty bottles either, so we like that.

Conclusion

Acai Berry Select is a good product. They include proven ingredients to supplement the acai included which provides a good, healthy ingredient profile. What’s more, they’ve fully disclosed the amounts of all the ingredients. This is something not many do and should be commended. The price is great and the guarantee is pretty good. However, because of their sneaky marketing tactics of not being upfront about their autoship program, we can’t recommend that you purchase from them.
