Acai Noni Diet Pill Review
Critic's Top Pick
We're often asked if we ever rate a diet pill positively. The answer is that we do (rarely). Why don't we recommend Acai Noni? We're looking for clinically-researched ingredients, at the clinical dosage. There are a few diet pills that have chosen to take this high road, and our favorite is Apidexin. You can read our review or go to the official site.
Another in a long list of acai berry diet pills, the Acai Noni diet pill claims to be the hottest new diet pill of 2009. The problem, however, isn’t with the diet pill; it’s the sneaking marketing that tries to burn you. But before we get into that, let’s take a quick look at the ingredients.
Ingredients
- Acai Extract
- Hawaiian Noni Extract
- Green Tea Extract
- Resveratrol
Acai Extract-Acai berry is an excellent source of antioxidants, but it has never been linked to weight loss.
Hawaiian Noni Extract-Again a great antioxidant, but will it help you lose weight? Not really.
Green Tea Extract-A good stimulant that can help raise your metabolism.
Resveratrol-Again, another excellent source of antioxidants, but hasn’t been shown to help with weight loss.
Great for antioxidants, not weight loss
The amount of each ingredient in Acai Noni is not listed, but all of these ingredients are really good sources for antioxidants. The problem is that antioxidants won’t really help you lose weight. The green tea ingredient will help boost your energy, but on its own it won’t do a whole lot of good.
Acai Noni’s Marketing
Sneaky autoship
Like many other diet pill companies that we’ve encountered before, Acai Noni tries to lure you in with a free 14-day trial. What they don’t tell you (except in the fine print) is that by signing up for the free trial, you are also signing up to be automatically shipped a supply of Acai Noni each month. If you don’t cancel before sixteen days after ordering, you will charged $79.95 and shipped a new supply of this diet pill whether you like it or not. Take a look at the small print:
“By agreeing to the terms of the Agreement, Customer automatically receives 14-day trial to the Program. Customer has 14 days to try the Program and decide whether to accept the Program full-time. Prior to the expiration of the 14-day trial period, Customer may cancel its subscription by calling toll-free or writing to Acai-Noni. Should Customer fail to cancel its subscription, its Subscription with Reg.Net will become active and Customer will be billed $79.95 on the 16th day after its trial begins and every month thereafter.”
So basically, Acai Noni is just trying to get your credit card information so they can sign you up for their autoship program and charge you a lot of money. Don’t fall for it!
Acai Noni Price
If you sign up for the 14-day trial and don’t cancel before sixteen days, Acai Noni will cost you $79.95 each month.
Acai Noni Guarantee
Acai Noni tries to make it sound like their product has a good guarantee, but again, check out the fine print:
“MONEY BACK GUARANTEE: IF AT ANY TIME YOU ARE UNSATISFIED WITH OUR PRODUCT, CONTACT US AND WE WILL GIVE YOU A 100% REFUND ON ANY UNOPENED PRODUCT. Fees and Pricing Product Fees for Customers are assessed monthly. Customer agrees to be billed a monthly fee of $79.95 for the pill bottles. Customer expressly agrees and states as follows: ‘I UNDERSTAND I MAY BE LIABLE FOR PAYMENT OF FUTURE GOODS AND SERVICES UNDER THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT IF I FAIL TO NOTIFY THE SUPPLIER NOT TO SUPPLY THE GOODS OR SERVICES DESCRIBED.’”
Their trial period doesn’t even give you enough time to properly test the diet pill, let alone decide if you want a shipment each month. Plus, it seems very difficult to get any of your money back or stop the shipments. Again: Don’t fall for it!
Conclusion
Acai Noni would be good if you were looking for a good source of antioxidants, but this pill will not help you lose weight. But even if it were a good diet pill, the shady autoship program in enough to make me recommend that everyone stay away from this company. Big thumbs down for Acai Noni!
