I took Adipex from Jan 09-Aug09. I lost 35lbs total. The weight came off very fast at first and then I just maintained my goal weight for about 6 months. However, since Adipex cannot be taken forever, I had to quit and the weight came back on. When I stopped taking Adipex I weighed 132lbs and a year later I weighed and still weigh 183lbs. I have really good eating habits and gym routine. No matter what I do, I cannot shed a pound! I honestly wish I had NEVER taken Adipex. I believe that it fundamentally transformed my bodys ability to burn fat on it own without stimulants. I would NOT recommend this prescription to anyone.

Medications that help curb hunger do not cure habits. I have a binge eating disorder, I work out twice a day 7 days a week ZERO rest days [you need rest days!!] just to maintain my weight, which has been next to impossible. Ive never tried this medication but I was given MERIDIA and it was the best thing ever, I lost 15lbs in two weeks because food was not on the forefront of my head daily, I was able to live a normal life.. then it was pulled from the market. My weight went back up.
I can’t loose the weight. I believe if you eat right you will drop the weight, if you can’t then your probably eating too many carbs or too much sugar intake.
