Ingredient Update: The FDA has issued a warning against Hydroxycut-branded products for possibly causing health problems related with the liver. BioPerin- Designed to be a “thermonutrient,” BioPerine is a patented ingredient that is probably a good addition to other effective diet pill ingredients.

Chromium-This ingredient has been shown to help regulate blood sugar levels, but has not been conclusively shown to help aid in weight loss.

L-Arginine-L-Arginine is another one of the 20 nonessential amino acids. In this context, nonessential mean that your body already produces a sufficient amount of them in your body. Common sources of l-arginine are poultry, seafood, dairy, and nuts. L-arginine has been shown to have benefits of increased muscle mass, reduced risk of heart disease, improved immune function, and decreased blood pressure.

L-Carnitine, L-Glutamine, L-Lysine, L-Ornithine-Other amino acids that have not been shown to be effective diet pill ingredients.

Full of unproven ingredients

Besides from BioPerin-which has been shown to be an effective diet pill ingredient when combined with other good ingredients-the other ingredients found in Bio Sculpt have never been proven to help aid in weight loss. And while there is nothing in this diet pill that could potentially harm your body, a long list of ingredients usually means that even if the ingredients were effective, the amount of each is so small that the pill is rendered ineffective. So basically, from just looking at the ingredients in Bio Sculpt, it’s pretty safe to say that it won’t give you any weight loss benefits.

Bio Sculpt’s Marketing

There isn’t a whole lot of fancy marketing behind Bio Sculpt. And while it’s nice that they aren’t trying to fool you into unknowingly signing up for an expensive autoship program, there is another thing about this product’s market that I’d like to point out.

Under the “How to use Bio Sculpt” section on the website, it says: “With Bio Sculpt, you don’t have to count calories, restrict your diet, or exercise to see results.” The problem with this is that these marketers are setting you up to fail. Even with an effective diet pill that contains quality ingredients, you still need to exercise and eat right to see maximum results. This company wants you to believe that you won’t have to do anything but take their product and the pounds will magically melt away. I’m sorry, but this just isn’t going to happen-nice try though.
