The first thing you should know about BPi SOLID Hardening Agent is that it’s not a diet pill.

Instead, this product is “an extremely powerful androgenic hardening agent”. When you use it, it should harden, strengthen, and define your muscles. BPi SOLID Hardening Agent should also reduce water retention, which is also an effect Phenphedrine has.

The Ingredients

Hardening Agent has three of the most unique ingredients I’ve ever seen. In fact, I’ve never seen these ingredients used in another product. They are combined into a proprietary blend totaling 100 mg per serving:

• Borassus Aethiopum is an African palm tree.
• Tulbaghia Violacea is a type of garlic plant.
• Cynodon Dactylon is Bermuda grass.

The Claims

The official website doesn’t have a lot of information about Hardening Agent, but Bodybuilding.com does. On this site, the manufacturer claims that compounds in this product can bind androgen receptors, and promote hardening, strength, and definition. They even offer these three references to back up the claims:

The official website also states: “This product has been tested at a third-party independent lab.” But I couldn’t find details about the test or what the results were.

The Studies

When I searched the first reference, nothing came up.

The second reference brought up an animal study on cynodon. The point of this study was to see if cynodon could help reduce stress-induced sexual dysfunction in rats. It was successful, so researchers concluded that cynodon is a potent aphrodisiac…for rats.

The third reference is for a study on the effect of tulbaghia on mice. This study found that tulbaghia does have androgenic properties…on mice.

In my opinion, these studies don’t support the claims made by the Hardening Agent manufacturer. Only one of the ingredients was shown to have androgenic properties when used on mice. These results may not apply to humans.

The Amounts

Since none of the ingredients in Hardening Agent have been tested on humans, there are no recommended amounts. And because the ingredients are combined into a proprietary blend, I can’t see what the individual doses are anyways.

The Safety

Without human research, it’s difficult for me to know what effect the ingredients in Hardening Agent will have on people. Are they safe? Do they cause side effects? Are they used in unsafe doses?

I don’t have answers to any of these questions.

On Bodybuilding.com, Hardening Agent has received more than 75 ratings from users, who gave it an average rating of 8 out of 10. This surprises me! After the lack of information on Hardening Agent’s formula, I was skeptical that this product could be effective.

Users who rated Hardening Agent positively said it builds and hardens muscle, increases strength and vascularity, and reduces water retention. People who weren’t so thrilled with Hardening Agent said it didn’t improve their muscles and actually caused them to retain more water.

How to Use BPi SOLID Hardening Agent

From what I read in user reviews, I have three recommendations. 1. Hardening Agent may be a good product to use to reduce bloating and water retention caused by creatine. 2. This may help improve muscle definition. Some users said they use it before muscle competitions. 3. Several users recommended stacking Hardening Agent with BPi A-HD.

It’s best to take 1 capsule of Hardening Agent every morning at the same time on a full stomach. It should be taken for 4-8 consecutive weeks, and no longer. The manufacturer recommends taking an 8 week break between cycles.

This product should not be used by women.

Is Hardening Agent Worth Trying?

I don’t know enough about BPi SOLID Hardening Agent’s formula to feel confident recommending this product. Its ingredients aren’t backed by human research that I could find. I don’t know if the product is effective or safe. And I’ve never seen these ingredients used before.

Many users seem to like Hardening Agent, but others don’t get any results from it. Since it’s not cheap and it doesn’t come with a guarantee, I think you’d be risking too much by trying Hardening Agent.
