Calotren Review

Many weight-loss hopefuls keep away from diet pills because they know side effects often outweigh benefits. Nausea, headache, insomnia, and even irregular heartbeat plague users on a consistent basis.
Calotren, however, is said to change all that. A diet pill without stimulants, Calotren is advertised to provide all the fat-burning, muscle-building benefits of a standard diet pill without the side effects.
Often when diet pills remove stimulants from their formula, however, effectiveness is compromised. I was curious to see if this was the case with Calotren, so I did a little research on this unique product.
What’s Different About Calotren?
The first thing I discovered about Calotren was how different it is from other weight loss supplements. Not only does Calotren avoid stimulants, it also excludes appetite suppressants from the formula. Therefore, unlike most diet pills on the market, Calotren doesn’t unnaturally boost the body’s processes or trick your stomach into thinking it’s full.
Instead, the ingredients in Calotren naturally support metabolism and muscle-building processes in the body. The ingredients are advertised as “cold-processed and scientifically formulated,” providing a quality many diet pills don’t.
What Ingredients Are in Calotren?
Since the formula in Calotren promises to be so unique, I want to start there first.
It looks like Calotren makers use a proprietary blend with 7 ingredients. I usually don’t like proprietary blends because they don’t tell us exact ingredient quantities; this makes it difficult to judge effectiveness. However, there’s a possibility Calotren is using a proprietary blend to protect its formula from rival companies.
I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt for now, and go over each ingredient in the Calotren formula.
Collagen Hydrolysate (Bovine Source)
The main ingredient in Calotren, this bovine-derived collagen source has been scientifically formulated to boost metabolism. This helps your body burn excess fats and sugars more efficiently, making it easier for you to lose weight. Collagen also supports muscle building, which speeds the fat burning process.
Even if your main fitness goal isn’t weight loss, collagen can still be useful. It encourages energy and endurance.
These sound like good benefits, but there’s not much scientific evidence out there to support weigh loss claims. The few studies that do exist use chicken collagen, which isn’t the kind used in most supplements, including Calotren.
Aloe Vera
The aloe vera plant has many healing properties, including some that can boost weight loss. Aloe vera regulates blood sugar levels, treats
constipation, and boosts metabolic rate.
With better blood sugar levels, you’ll have an easier time losing weight. Less impacted waste in the colon also improves weight loss results. And of course, a faster metabolism burns fat more efficiently and provides the body with more useable energy.
Vegetable Glycerin
Vegetable glycerin doesn’t promote weight loss, but it does alleviate many negative weight loss side effects. For example, weight loss can cause bad breath as bacteria are released into the blood stream. Vegetable glycerin kills this bacteria and freshens your breath.
Vegetable glycerin also contains some essential oils to improve your health. As an effective laxative, vegetable glycerin also improves digestion and reduces any existing bloating.
Microcrystalline Cellulose
Microcrystalline cellulose is a refined wood pulp used to bulk up food and create satiety. It seems that, contrary to their claims, Calotren makers did include an appetite suppressant in their product. Appetite suppressants like microcrystalline cellulose keep you feeling full, helping you limit your caloric intake.
Gelatin
When combined with the protein in collagen, gelatin has a thermic effect when ingested. This boosts metabolism, increasing fat burning rates. Gelatin also decreases cortisol levels, an essential facet in weight loss as cortisol increases stress, appetite, and abdominal fat storage.
Magnesium Stearate
A compound combining magnesium salt and stearic acid, magnesium stearate is said to treat diabetes side effects. Specifically, it eliminates excessive sugar in the blood and urine. This helps control cravings and promote easier weight loss.
Stearic Acid
Stearic acid is used mostly as a filler ingredient in supplements. It has no weight loss benefits and, in fact, is linked to weight gain.
This is certainly a unique formula. However, without many supporting studies and especially without actual ingredient quantities, it’s hard to judge effectiveness. To do that, then, we’ll have to turn to past customer reviews.
Do Users Like Calotren?
Unfortunately, it seems Calotren didn’t cut it with their innovative formula. It currently holds a 2/5-star rating on Amazon.com, with users citing side effects and no positive benefits. Here’s a look at what a few customers had to say:
“If you are at all sensitive to taking pills, don’t do this! I followed the instructions, waited the 3 hours after eating before taking it, and then barely slept all night. It says “no stimulants” but something kept me awake and feeling sick all night.” –Leslie Brooks
“I tried calotren for a month and received no results. I worked out, cut back food in-take and didn’t eat after 7pm every night. I didn’t feel any different health wise either. I would not recommend this product.” –Courtney
One customer did note that while Calotren didn’t provide weight loss results, it did improve her health in other areas.
“I only used this for one month and did not feel like I lost any weight on it, but maybe I need to stay on it longer, but I was told I would see results in a week. I did however notice a difference in my skin and hair. I am in my 30′s and am starting to see the ageing process and I felt this product made my skin look younger and more plump and firm. I also noticed my hair was softer and fuller. I would keep using this product except it is kinda expensive.”—Mindy N. Arbon
No one, however, said Calotren helped them lose weight. If weight loss is your prime motivation for using Calotren, I would look elsewhere.
How Do You Use Calotren?
Because collagen’s beneficial properties go to work at night, you should always take Calotren right before bed time. According to manufacturers, the best way to take Calotren is to swallow 4 capsules with 8 ounces of water.
Because Calotren doesn’t contain stimulants, it shouldn’t keep you awake. However, at least 1 customer found Calotren did cause sleeplessness, so plan accordingly.
How Much Does Calotren Cost?
Calotren is rather expensive at $61.99 a bottle. However, the price really includes a “free” bottle, bringing the price down to a manageable $31.00. This isn’t too bad for a month’s supply, but if Calotren performs at the same sub-par rate for you as it has with other customers, no price could be considered a good deal.
You can also find Calotren at the following locations:
SilverSolutionUSA.com
Price: $55.00
Amazon.com
Price: $55.00
Top of the World Distributors

Should You Try Calotren?
Calotren may be useful in some areas, but you likely won’t see the weight loss results you’re looking for. Given the pricing options and negative customer experience, I wouldn’t recommend you buy Calotren.
In this case, it may be better to stick with a traditional diet pill.
