Caralluma Actives Review
Caralluma fimbriata was used by tribal Indians to reduce their hunger and increase their endurance. Today, it is used as the only ingredient in Caralluma Actives to help people lose weight.
I’ve seen promising research on caralluma, but I’ve never seen it used as an only ingredient. Will Caralluma Actives be effective with just one ingredient? Or would a product like Apidextra with several proven ingredients be a better choice?
What Is Caralluma Fimbriata?
Caralluma fimbriata is an edible cactus found in India. The extract of this cactus is used in Caralluma Actives in a patented form called Slimaluma™.
Each serving of this diet pill has 500 mg of Slimaluma™.
I’m not sure what it is about caralluma that makes it an effective appetite-suppressant and energy-increaser, and neither do researchers. However, I did find one study, which showed that it can reduce hunger and help people lose weight.
Clinical Study
This study was performed at St. John’s Academy of Healthy Sciences in Bangalore, India and published in the May 2007 edition of the journal Appetite.
In the study, 50 men and women were given either 1000 mg of caralluma extract a day or a placebo. This went on for 60 days.
During the study, participants who received caralluma extract had lower levels of hunger; and at the end of the study, they had a decrease in waist size, body mass index, and body fat.
Will Caralluma Fimbriata Cause Side Effects?
Not only did caralluma help users lose weight, it didn’t cause serious side effects. This led researchers to conclude that most people can safely take 500 mg of the extract for 60 days. However, the long-term effective of this substance are unknown.
According to WebMD.com, there is a chance that caralluma could cause mild side effects like stomach upset, gas, constipation, and stomach pain. These side effects should eventually go away.
I couldn’t find any reviews of Caralluma Actives, so I don’t know if or how often users report side effects.
How to Use It
If you want the clinically proven dose of caralluma, you’ll need to take 2 capsules of Caralluma Actives a day. Oddly enough, the official website recommends only taking 1 capsule a day. I’m not sure why, but I think this is strange since you need at least 2 capsules to get the effective dose used in the study.
The main benefit of Caralluma Actives is that is reduces appetite so it’s easier for you to cut calories. You can get the most out of this product by eating healthy foods and exercising regularly. I recommend exercise because it burns calories, but it also keeps your muscles strong so they don’t break down as a result of dieting.
I recommend taking Caralluma Actives 30 minutes before breakfast or lunch. This is the best way to get the appetite-suppressing benefits of caralluma.
Buying Caralluma Actives
One bottle of Caralluma Actives holds 30 capsules. If you take the clinically proven dose (2 capsules), each bottle will last for 15 days.
On the official website, one bottle costs $49.95. If it really only lasts for 15 days, this diet pill will be very pricey! When you buy three bottles, the cost is $99.95, which is a much-better deal.
I couldn’t find any other sites that sell Caralluma Actives.
The Guarantee
The official website has what they call a “money back guarantee”, but I wouldn’t call it that because the guarantee is only good for unused, unopened products. This doesn’t give you a chance to try the product and see if it will work for you.
An example of a good guarantee comes from Apidextra.com. If you buy Apidextra from this site, you get a 90-day 100% money back guarantee, which is good for 1 used and any unused bottles. This policy is what I consider to be a money back guarantee. What Caralluma Actives makers offer is a very-limited return policy.
Is Caralluma Actives a Good Buy?
Despite the fact that it only has one ingredient, I think Caralluma Actives could be effective, if you take 2 capsules (1000 mg) a day. But I do have a few concerns.
First, if you do take 2 capsules a day, this product will be very expensive. Second, I couldn’t find any customer reviews online. Third, Caralluma Actives is not covered by a full guarantee, so you try it at your own risk.
If you want an effective diet pill that is more affordable and comes guaranteed, I recommend Apidextra. In my opinion, it’s the leading diet pill on the market right now. You can learn more about it at Apidextra.com.
Have you tried Caralluma Actives before? If you have, I would love to hear your opinion. Feel free to share a comment or questions below.
