Care4Colon Review

Care4Colon is a Florida business that performs colon hydrotherapy, or colon cleansing.

Removing toxins in your body can promote better health and even boost your metabolism so that you can lose more weight.

But colon hydrotherapy is controversial. Some say it brings you more harm than help. So can visiting a facility like Care4Colon really improve your health?

What Is Colon Hydrotherapy?

There are two ways to cleanse your colon. One is to take dietary supplements, such as fiber, herbs, and laxatives that stimulate natural elimination of waste and toxins.

In contrast, the way practiced by Care4Colon is presumably quicker and more effective. This involves using tubes to inject water (sometimes mixed with herbs or liquids) into the colon through the rectum.

The only U.S. state where colon hydrotherapy is regulated is Florida. If you don’t live in Florida, you will most likely have to visit someone who operates on the black market.

Do You Need Care4Colon?

Sometimes doctors encourage colon hydrotherapy to prepare for a colonoscopy. However, colon hydrotherapy is an alternative health practice and has not proven to be effective.

Your body is programmed to naturally remove waste and toxins. Pumping your colon and large intestine full of water goes against your body’s system.

In fact, colon cleansing could lead to dangerous side effects such as dehydration, bowel perforations, and risk of infection. It could also cause cramping, bloating, nausea, and vomiting.

Frequent colon hydrotherapy sessions can also leave you dependent on enemas in order to defecate.

Is Care4Colon a Good Business?

There’s not much information available on Care4Colon. It has received a C rating by the Better Business Bureau because of the lack of information available on the business. Apparently, the BBB requested background information several times and either received no response or could not verify the information.

Should I Visit Care4Colon?

Since colon hydrotherapy is a controversial health practice and not proven to be safe, I would advise against visiting Care4Colon. Unless, of course, you are receiving a colonoscopy and have been advised by a doctor to first receive a colon cleanse.

If you are set on a colon cleanse, though, I would suggest using a natural supplement that’s less likely to cause health risks.
