Chocamine
Critic's Top Pick
We're often asked if we ever rate a diet pill positively. The answer is that we do (rarely). Why don't we recommend Chocamine? We're looking for clinically-researched ingredients, at the clinical dosage. There are a few diet pills that have chosen to take this high road, and our favorite is Apidexin. You can read our review or go to the official site.
Chocamine is claimed to be a “patent pending cocoa extract that has the taste, smell and proven health benefits of chocoloate without the sugar, fat and dairy of chocolate candy.” According to the makers of Chocamine, it is the only chocolate supplement that:
- Normalizes your appetite
- Regulates cravings (suprisingly similar to normalizing your appetite, don’t you think?)
- Promotes sustained energy
They go on to cliam that Chocamine has thermogenic capabilities, aiding in your weight loss. These claims stem from the inclusion of some stimulants such as caffeine and synephrine.
Chocamine Ingredients
- Theobromine
- Caffeine
- Theophyline
- Phenethylamine
- Tyramine
- Ocotopamine
- Gallic Acid
- Synephrine
- N-Methyl Tyramine
The difficult part is that since the patent is still “pending” I’m unable to find the amounts of each ingredient in Chocamine. It’s also noteworthy to mention that I didn’t find this information on Chocamine’s site, which provided nearly zero information about the actual ingredients.
Conclusion
The short story is this: Chocamine appears to be a stimulant based ingredient (judging from the caffeine and synephrine that’s included). It’s hard, however, to say exactly how effective Chocamine will be in a diet pill since we don’t know exactly how much of it is made up of effective ingredients. What will likely happen, is diet pill companies will fail to disclose how much Chocamine they include anyway, making it doubly impossible to say that the inclusion of Chocamine will help you lose weight. As it stands for now, I wouldn’t reject a diet pill that included Chocamine, nor would I suggest you buy it if it’s the pill’s main ingredient.
