Clinitrim-5 is another of the few diet pills that has taken the high road of including ingredients that are actually backed by solid clinical research. They claim that it is the “most scientifically proven diet pill.” It is apparent that they actually did their homework before producing their weight loss supplement. (Something that others either don’t do, or do and still decide to include cheap ingredients to make better profit margins.)

At first glance, we’re liking Clinitrim-5, but lets take a deaper look into each ingredient as well as who’s producing the pill to see if it is all it’s cracked up to be.

Ingredients

Clinitrim-5 breaks up the ingredients into 5 compounds, and for good reason. We’ll do the same here because the ingredients have been shown to be more effective when in the combinations that Clinitrim-5 has used.

Guarana, Yerba Mate, and Damiana – Often abbreviated as GYD, this herbal combination has been backed a number of clinical studies that show that it is quite effective in appetite suppression. Some diet pills include one of the three, but the only supportive studies that I’ve been able to find have included all three.

Glucumannan - Another effective appetite suppressant, this dietary fiber is also backed by clinical research.

5-HTP – Is an effective mood enhancer.

7-Keto - More research would be nice, but most studies are supportive so far pertaining to its weight loss capabilities.

CitriMax, Gymnema Sylvestre, and ChromeMate – Super CitriMax by itself has shown to supress appetite and inhibit fat production. It has been shown to be particularly effective when combined with gymnema sylvestre and ChromMate (aids in blood sugar regulation).

Ingredient Update: The FDA has issued a warning against Hydroxycut-branded products for possibly causing health problems related with the liver. While the FDA has not confirmed it, some believe that the ingredient behind the problems is Hyrdoxycitric Acid, or HCA. HCA is found in Garcinia Cambogia. So until more definitive research is done, we are no longer recommending any products that contain the ingredient Hyrdoxycitric Acid. While Clinitrim-5 may not pack as much of a punch of other diet pills (such as those based on stimulants) it is likely to be effective. The guarantee is good and the price is even better.
