Cytolean Diet Pill Review

Cytolean is “the only serious choice to boost your metabolism and increase energy levels while decreasing appetite!”  At least according to their website it is.  In reality, Cytolean is another run of the mill diet pill that includes pretty good ingredients, but hides how much of each is in the diet pill.

This Cytolean review will look deeper into its ingredients and the company to give us a better picture of what Cytolean may have to offer.

Cytolean Ingredients

Green Tea - Is an effective ingredient that is known to increase your metabolic rate.

Phenylalanine - An effective appetite suppressant.

L-Tyrosine - An effective amino acid that helps in the sythesis of proteins, aiding in exercise.  It is also believed to help with stress levels.

Phenylethylamine - While some believe it will help you “feel better” research is lacking in 1. its ability to do so, and 2. if this will even help you lose weight at all.

Caffeine - Caffeine is another proven weight loss ingredients that is supported by tons of research.  It is a stimulant so those who don’t fair well with caffeine or other stimulants should steer clear.

The other ingredients aren’t likely to do anything to help you lose weight.  So, great ingredients = great/effective product right? Not necessarily.  Unfortunately, it appears as thought Cytolean has taken the same path as most other weight loss supplement companies.  They’ve included proven ingredients (so they can put it on the label) but put them in a “proprietary blend” so they don’t have to tell you how much of each ingredient is included.  Being that the quality ingredients are usually the most expensive, you can bet that they aren’t putting the good stuff in there.

Cytolean’s Marketing

Here’s the main beef that we have with Cytolean’s website: it provides almost zero information about the ingredients used.  I found a listing of their ingredients (on the bottom right hand side of the page) after searching for a bit, but that is all that they provide.  The rest is one big sales pitch.

Here’s some other gripes: The mention that their formula is “patent pending” as though that adds some credibility somehow.  All this really means is that they have applied for a patent, not that they have actually been granted a patent.  Anyone can apply and slap the patent pending label on their product.

I’m also pretty sure that I’ve seen Mike’s before and after photo one another diet pill’s website.  Now, whether Cytolean stole it from someone or whether someone else stole it from Cytolean, I don’t know.  But I thought I’d raise the fact anyway.  At the least it shows you how things go in this industry.  Oh and the before and after photo in the Testimonials section is ridiculous.  The first picture doesn’t even show her head. How in the world are we suppose to think that it is the same person?

Their FAQ section is nothing of the sort!  You would normally expect to see some answers to some questions that are frequently asked right?  Well they have “8 Simple Fat Loss Facts.”  Nothing about Cytolean at all.

Cytolean’s Price

$49.95 per bottle.  Pretty pricey for what you’re getting.

Cytolean’s Guarantee

Didn’t see one.

Conclusion

Cytolean provides hyped up marketing, and a good sales pitch, but it’s difficult to say that their product will be effective.  With a nondisclosed ingredient profile, we don’t know how much of each ingredient is included.  Judging from the size of the proprietary formula, we suggest with a fair amount of confidence that the amounts aren’t going to be up to par.  Thumbs down for Cytolean.
