There is little information provided on DiCaffeine Malate, but it appears that it is a combination of regular caffeine and malic acid. Malic acid is important to the citric acid cycle in the body. This may help in the conversion of fats, protiens, and carbohydrates into CO2 and H20 which may result in an increase in energy levels. Its a bit of a stretch, but seems feasable.
Conclusion
Unfortunately there is no research to date on whether or not DiCaffeine Malate is more effective than regular caffeine. As such, we suggest that you consider DiCaffeine Malate to have the same effectiveness than caffeine has. Caffeine is one of the few ingredients whose weight loss claims are actually backed by a good amount of research. Don’t let diet pill companies tell you that DiCaffeine is more effective until you see some research directly comparing the two. The idea is there, but the research is lacking. All in all, however, it’s still going to be effective. Thumbs up.
