Diet Fuel Diet Pill Review

Diet Fuel is designed specifically for active (meant to be used with a lot of exercise) females looking to lose weight (sorry guys, look elsewhere).

According to TwinLab, Diet Fuel is “a patented, breakthrough Ephedra Free formula, [which] combines an effective complex of clinically proven ingredients to increase metabolic rate, promote weight loss, and increase energy”  While Diet Fuel does indeed use some proven ingredients, the amounts of those ingredents are, like the vast majority of other diet pills on the market, not disclosed.

Diet Fuel Ingredients

Green Tea - We give the nod of approval for including green tea in their proprietary blend but we shake our heads that the amount isn’t disclosed.  Rest assured that with the whole proprietary blend being only 685 mg there’s not likely to be enough green tea in there to make much of a difference (unless it consumed almost all of the 685 mgs).

Citrus Aurantium - Also known at bitter orange, it has been shown to help in appetite suppression.

St. John’s Wort Extract - While it has been shown to be effective in helping with major depression, there is little to no evidence that it aids in weight loss.

L Phenylalanine - An essential amino acid, L Phynlalanine is believed to help in appetite suppression.  Again, I found very little supporting research for these claims.

The list goes on, but the point is this: Where they don’t disclose how much of each ingredient is included, it’s near impossible to give the go ahead for this pill.  Especially considering the fact that you only have 685 mg to spread all those ingredients across.  That’s not a good sign.

Diet Fuel’s Marketing

TwinLab provides almost no information about the product on their website other than its sales pitch.  They didn’t even have what ingredients were in the pill (probably an intentional move).  All I know from their website is that it’s for women and will (supposedly) make me thin.  Poor marketing.

Diet Fuel Price

I found Diet Fuel available from $15 to $35 per bottle.  Pretty cheap.  In my opinion, however, you’re getting what you pay for (very little).

Conclusion

From the looks of it, Diet Fuel seems to have passed its popular days.  And probably for good reason.  We found it to be yet another diet pill hiding behind its “proprietary blend” like many, many others.  There are more proven, quality products on the market that you should look at instead.

#2 Lipovox

rank 2 nuphedragen

Lipovox is another diet pill based on the 10 superfoods made famous by Oprah and others. What we like about Lipovox is that it is not just banking on the 10 superfoods, but it also includes green tea (a proven weight loss ingredient) and other good ingredients. It claims to “Burn up to 400% more fat than with just diet and exercise alone!”

If you are interested in getting a more natural diet pill and one that uses the 10 superfoods, than Lipovox may be the solution for you.  The ingredient profile strong compared to other superfood-based pills.  The price is great and you can’t go wrong with their lifetime guarantee.  We say give Lipovox a try.  Two thumbs up!
