HCG Fusion Review
What is HCG Fusion?
HCG stands for Human Chorio Gonadotropin and is most commonly known for being the hormone produced by the placenta in a pregnant woman. This feeds the fetus part of the mother’s stored fat supply. This is also the hormone that is detected when a woman takes a pregnancy test. HCG controls the mother’s metabolic function, hence the appeal in weight loss supplements. HCG can be found in the form of injections and are typically given to men wishing to increase their sperm count or women who need help ovulating. More recently this hormone has been the fad for diet companies who want the hottest new weight loss ingredient. The form of this hormone is usually a synthetic but is also sometimes extracted from a pregnant woman’s urine and processed for other’s to use.
How does it work?
One of the main ways that this product is supposed to help you lose weight is by boosting your metabolism. HCG Fusion is said to signal to the hypothalamus, the area of the brain that influencesmetabolic rate, to start using up fat stores. The catch? The consumer must cut down their diet to 500 calories a day. For those of you thinking that this would be nearly impossible to do, we agree. Not only would it be incredibly difficult, but also immensely dangerous. The body needs calories to function properly, and limiting it to this few calories won’t even support proper brain function. The explanation behind lowering your calorie intake that low is that the body will run off of 3,500 calories of abnormal fat stores, and it will magically reduce hunger pangs. The problem is that there is no ingredient in this product to actually suppress appetite to that extreme. Before the weight loss process can even start to take place you will feel drained, irritable, and light headed with nothing stopping you from feeding your body what it needs to sustain itself. There is no caffeine or any other energy inducing ingredients in this product, so the claim that you might even feel more energized is off base.

Is HCG Fusion worth buying?
The main ingredient in this product, HCG, has absolutely no scientific evidence proving that it will have any effect on weight loss besides that resulting from the caloric restriction. There is no evidence proving that it will boost metabolism (and may actually do the opposite), increase energy, or suppress appetite. If you are looking for significant weight loss results, starving your body is not the way. Not only will that not lead to any actual weight loss but it will also make you feel so drained that you will hardly have the energy to get up from the couch, let alone follow through with a healthy exercise routine. Save yourself thesuffering and look elsewhere for a valid weight loss product.
