Hoodia Gordonii – For those of you who haven’t read elsewhere on the site, hoodia gordonii is a fad diet pill ingredient that is backed by absolutely non legitimate scientific research at all. Despite its popularity, hoodia gordonii will do nothing for you in terms of helping you lose weight.

Nothing surprising here. Like almost all diet pills touting hoodia as their main ingredient, HoodiaP57 the same old ‘hoodia marketing’ tactics. They all claim to have the “real deal” and have some (easily) fabricated “certificate” that is supposed to make you think that they somehow are the only ones that have “authenticated hoodia.” In my opinion, an authentic worthless ingredient is still a worthless ingredient.

The before and after photos are pretty much a joke. I’m not even sure that some of them are even the same people (some look like stock photos). And of course they post logos of TV shows and magazines to add some kind of perceived credibility. HoodiaP57 claims that they have 20 times the strength of regular hoodia. I’m not exactly sure how you can make it be so much “stronger”, but the bottom line is that 20 times 0 still equals 0.

Also, they offer to give you a couple of freebies if you choose to receive free shipping. Sound to good to be true? It is.

If you agree you are signed up for “free” weight loss advice from a doctor as well as a “free” subscription WellnessWatchersMD for two weeks. Well in reality, if you don’t call and cancel your advise form the doctor within 14 days they start charging you $4.92 a month to do it. It is of course billed annually so you can bet on them billing you upwards of $59 right off the bat (which I’m sure you can’t get a refund on). Wow, suddenly that free shipping wasn’t so free now was it? Sneaky gimmicks like these always make the company look bad and we hope that you can see it for what it is.

Conclusion

Please don’t give these guys your money. Hoodia gordonii has not been proven to be an effective appetite suppressant at all. If you lose weight, it will likely be caused by the placebo effect. Any amount of money of too much for such a product, so $40 is way to high. Their marketing is shady, leading us to believe the company is only out to make money and not to provide a good product. Don’t waste your money. Look for proven ingredients at the proven amounts. Thumbs down for HoodiaP57.
