Hydroxycut is a well-known brand in the weight loss world. With so many years of experience and the price you pay per bottle, its understandable to be expecting a high-quality product. Hydroxycut Shape is a weight loss supplement designed specifically towards women. So what does it do that will help women lose weight? And is it enough to make it worth buying? To answer these questions one must look at what they’ve put inside the bottle, and how much of it they’ve put inside.

So what’s in Hydroxycut Shape?

Hydroxycut Shape has included many natural ingredients in this product. These include caffeine anhydrous, yerba mate, guarana, wild olive extract, L-carnitine tartrate, Lady’s mantle extract, ma-chin extract, and wild mint extract. While these can be good for you, we wouldn’t say that its the best mix for losing weight.

Caffeine anhydrous is one of the only ingredients in this product that has been clinically proven for weight loss. Its very effective in a weight loss supplement, which is why it is so commonly used. Anhydrous just means that it is the dehydrated form of caffeine, so expect some of the same side effects you would experience while taking any caffeine-based ingredient. Caffeine is effective because it gives you more energy and helps your body burn more calories. It can also suppress your appetite, helping you eat less.

But does it have enough of this one ingredient to be worth it? One way to tell is that it takes 400 mg of caffeine anhydrous to be effective, and this proprietary blend only consists of 383 mg.

The reason why it is supposed to be specifically designed towards women is that they have included iron, calcium, and folic acid. For most women that have been pregnant before, you’ll recognize these nutrients from most prenatal vitamins. Unless you want to pay more for the name on the bottle, we’d say no. This product can cost you anywhere from $60-$100, quite pricey for a product with only one ingredient worth mentioning. For that much money there are some really great products out there with many scientifically-proven ingredients that help you lose weight. It seems that Hydroxycut is leaning a great deal on their big brand name and years of experience instead of making a high quality product worth all the money you’d spend on it.
