Icecube Diet Review
Most dieters wish they could find a product that could offer serious fat-burning ability as well as potent appetite suppression. The Icecube Diet from Desert Labs isn’t a fat-burner but it claims to be the ultimate appetite suppressant, relying on a hoodia gordonii blend contained conveniently in an ice cube.
The product comes in plastic ice trays that contain the liquid hoodia blend. You can pop it in your freezer and suck on one a day, supposedly to help you eat much less throughout the rest of the day. Is it effective and worth the money?
Icecube Diet Ingredients
The actual formula for this product is not disclosed by the company and is listed as “proprietary”. Obviously the key ingredient here is hoodia gordonii extract and the company claims that plenty of the active component P57 is included. The company does offer a copy of the chemical fingerprint analysis of its hoodia to confirm that it is genuine, which is good because so many hoodia products don’t actually contain real hoodia.
Much of the research done on hoodia extract has been relatively inconclusive, but there have also been many studies confirming what Kalahari Desert Bushmen have claimed for centuries – that it is a potent appetite suppressor, useful for them on long hunting expeditions where they may have little to eat for long periods of time.
Icecube Diet Marketing
The most noticeable tactic this company uses is a YouTube video that is designed as if it were an exclusive report from a major news network. This may be impressive to some, but it is simply a way to make you think the product is more widely accepted than it really is. People will believe anything they see on TV (or YouTube) right?
Icecube Diet Price
A 40-cube package is sold for $65. This is a highly expensive way to get hoodia, especially when the actual concentration of hoodia in each dose is not listed.
Icecube Diet Guarantee
The company does offer a 30-day money back guarantee and pays for return shipping.
Icecube Diet Conclusion
Though Desert Labs does offer one of the better return policies by actually paying for return shipping and they have a certificate of authenticity for their hoodia, the fact that they don’t really disclose the concentration of P57 in the cubes worries us. Not only this, but the rest of the ingredients in the formula are not listed. It’s reported that the cubes taste like “margaritas”, but good flavor without a guarantee that you’re getting enough hoodia isn’t enough to get a recommendation here.
