Irwin Naturals Green Tea Fat Metabolizer Review

Marketed tastefully, Irwin’s line of products are suited more for the classy herbal shops than under the garish light of ripped six pack and bulging bicep advertising.  They claim all-natural ingredients in effective and safe formulas.  This one combines a ‘highly concentrated blend of green tea extract with other potent herbal boosters’ that will:

  • Increase Calorie Burning
  • Promote Energy
  • Support Weight Management

Well we’ll see about that.  The proof is always in the ingredients, my friends.  Let’s take a looksee shall we?

Ingredients:

  • Chromium 125 mcg: essential for the correct metabolism of sugars within the body.
  • Fish Oil 851 mg: an anti-inflammatory that boosts the mood. Has been recently discovered to aid in the burning of fats, though in small amounts.
  • Green Tea Extract 400 mg: boasts amazing antioxidant properties, increases energy and raises metabolism.

Fat Metabolizing Blend 300 mg:

Contains Advantra Z, Bitter Orange Extract, and 100 mg of natural caffeine (which leads you to believe you’re getting only 200 mg of the other two ingredients, although their dosages within the blend are unknown.)

Bioperine Complex 6 mg:

Contains Bioperine Black Pepper Extract, Ginger Extract.

Irwin Naturals Green Tea Fat Metabolizer Marketing:

“Maximizes thermogenic action in fast-acting liquid soft gels for optimum results.  Use in conjunction with a low-calorie diet and exercise program. “

Well, at least they come right out and say this product isn’t going to single-handedly take on your BMI and roast it right into the healthy weight bracket.  You are required to do some work on your own.  But looking at these ingredients, only two of them are clinically tested and proven to work for metabolism and weight loss. Green Tea is still being tested by scientists who keep finding new health properties, but we know for sure it’s a great metabolism booster.  And Advantra Z is the only patented thermogenic ingredient for weight loss; in other words, it’s been used on a panel of test subjects and proven to work.  Unfortunately only Green Tea has a good dosage, in Advantra’s blend, 100 mg of it is caffeine, so you’re getting less than 200 mg for sure.  And most definitely not enough to render it real effective.

Also, people susceptible to caffeine, beware.  This product could make you jittery and dizzy.

Irwin Naturals Green Tea Fat Metabolizer Pricing:

It’s really cheap; we found it for $10.12 a bottle but you’ll have to shop around as Irwin sells through third-party retailers.  Make sure you watch out for inflated shipping costs.

Irwin Naturals Green Tea Fat Metabolizer Guarantee:

You’re at the mercy of whatever retailer you purchase from.  Most retailers will not refund on opened bottles, and there’s usually shipping and restocking fees attached if they do.

Irwin Naturals Green Tea Fat Metabolizer Conclusion:

This isn’t a bad product, if you’re in shape and looking for an inexpensive boost to your diet/workout regime.  Some of the ingredients are sound, but always beware of proprietary blends as they hide ineffective dosage amounts.   At $10.12 plus shipping, you can’t really go wrong, unless you really think this product will turn you into a mean, lean calorie-burning machine.  If so, we may need to talk.
