Another diet pill based on the 10 SuperFoods made popular on the Oprah show, Leptovox claims to be “the secret to fast weight loss [and] perfect skin.” While it may be another copy cat diet pill, at least they are copying an ingredient profile that actually has some merit.
The 10 SuperFoods have quite a bit of research backing them up, to which Leptovox adds a few ingredients of their own (mostly to help with healthier skin). This review of Leptovox will give you a more in depth view of its ingredient profile, as well as the company’s business practices.
- Green Tea (300 mg)
- Idebenone (25 mg)
- Proprietary Blend (350 mg)
Grean Tea – 50% Caffeine (300 mg) – Grean tea is a proven ingredient that increases the metabolic burn rate. It has been the subject of much study and research, the vast majority of which supports the claims of benefits in weight loss. While a bit more than 300 mg would be nice, it is a little more than other pills using the SuperFood formula.
Idebenone – Commonly found in facial creams, Idebenone is designed to help slow the aging process and get rid of wrinkles. This is where Leptovox claims that it will help you have healthier skin in addition to a healhty bmi. Whether it will make a difference or not is still undecided from our standpoint.
10 SuperFoods – You may have heard of the 10 SuperFoods. They were first made popular when a certain Dr. Perricone appeared on the Oprah show. Like anything lucky enough to get on that show, the superfoods quickly got some serious attention. Attention that, at least at present, appears to be deserving. While Leptovox doesn’t completely disclose each SuperFood’s amount, there is 350 mg that the SuperFood blend shares. While that amount doesn’t leave room for an insane level of potency, we definitely think that a good amount of ingredients can fit into the 350 mg. The majority (although not necessarily all) of the ingredients have some good research backing them up. We like that Leptovox includes garlic, something that lowers total cholesterol and is a very good overall health supplement. Flaxseed has been shown to help in appetite suppression. Most people consider the Acai fruit as one of the most nutritious foods available so we don’t think you can wrong with that. The list goes on (in fact, here’s the list) but I think you get the picture.
Their website is pretty straight forward without a lot of the hype that we see with other diet pills. While it doesn’t have any before and after pictures (a plus since I don’t believe them anyway) it does have the usual ripped male and skinny female advertised on the front page – whom I doubt have ever actually taken Leptovox. Aside from that and the slew of testimonials (which may or may not be legit – we can never really know), their marketing is somewhat refreshing and seemingly honest.
Part of their pitch includes the story of the creator of Leptovox who says the discovery happened more or less by chance. Take it for what you think its worth. They do state that “approximately 2% of users don’t see noticeable results” which leads me to believe that they are being open with us and setting our expectations (which I like).
They boast an impressive lifetime money back guarantee, which is commendable since anything over 60 days in this industry is noteworthy. You can return all unopened bottles and one empty bottle which is a bit better than other lifetime guarantees that we’ve seen.
Leptovox is priced at $37.99 per bottle which is very comparable to similar products (even a little less) and a pretty good bargain in our opinion.
If you’re interested in a supplement that uses the 10 SuperFoods, Leptovox may be a good diet pill. The ingredient profile is very well supported by researchers to not only help in weight loss but also improve overall health. Taking a more natural standpoint, Leptovox has shown that it may be a good contender in the diet pill market. We like their gaurantee and their price is pretty reasonable. We say give Leptovox a try.
