Metabolic Thyrolean, made by Prolab, claims to help you lose weight by regulating your metabolism better. It is supposedly designed to work on 3 areas of your metabolism: the thyroid, the liver, and the brain. If it’s effective, it sounds like a promising proposal. But does Metabolic Thyrolean deliver? This review will help us find that out.

Active ingredients include:

Guggulsterones - Guggulsterones help in the thyroid function. The belief is that they directly increase in your metabolism. Unfortunately, studies are seriously lacking results.

Garcinia Cambogia – Contains HCA which is an appetite suppressant that has been supported by a number of studies. This is a good ingredient to accompany other proven ingredients, it is not a secret to weight loss.

Ingredient Update: The FDA has issued a warning against Hydroxycut-branded products for possibly causing health problems related with the liver. While the FDA has not confirmed it, some believe that the ingredient behind the problems is Hyrdoxycitric Acid, or HCA. HCA is found in Garcinia Cambogia. So until more definitive research is done, we are no longer recommending any products that contain the ingredient Hyrdoxycitric Acid. L-Tyrosine - An amino acid that helps to synthesize proteins, l-tyrosine is a proven ingredient. It’s important to note, however, that 500 – 1,500 mg is the proven amount.

Metabolic Thyrolean’s Marketing

Prolab’s marketing is pretty straight forward, providing a decent amount of information what ingredients are in the pill. This is good as many companies give you a sales pitch, but not much more. Most of Prolab’s product are geared towards weight lifters. Pretty neutral rating from us.

Metabolic Thyrolean’s Price

$18.99 per bottle. This is a very low price for a diet pill. History indicates, however, that you usually get what you pay for in diet pills.

Conclusion

Metabolic Thyrolean only contains a couple of proven ingredients, the rest being filler ingredients to look good on a label. The price is very cheap, and probably rightly so. They have no guarantee which is never a good sign. We suggest you look elsewhere for a product with all proven ingredients. Thumbs down for Metbaolic Thyrolean.
