Phentramin-d Review

Phentramin-dPhentramin-d is formulated to be a powerful alternative to prescription diet pills like Adipex and Phentermine.

Although Phentramin-d makers claim that their product is highly-powerful and effective, you don’t need a prescription to get it and it’s supposedly very safe.

Another claim made about Phentramin-d is that is should “help you lose up to 25 pounds in a month!”

These are significant claims for any diet pill manufacturer to make, so let’s see if Phentramin-d has what it takes to be as effective as Phenphedrine; which is one of the most powerful, effective diet pills I’ve seen.

What Is Phentramin-d Made Of?

The first thing you should know about Phentramin-d is that it’s not an herbal diet pill like Phenphedrine and Apidextra are. Instead, it has 100 mg of 1,3,7 Trimethylxanthine and 1,3 Dimethylphentylamine hydrochloride per serving.

These clinically-tested chemicals are supposed to stimulate the body’s natural production of Norepinephrine, which then releases stored glucose and tells the stomach that it’s not hungry. So, Phentramin-d works like an appetite suppressant.

1,3,7 Trimethylxanthine is essentially caffeine. It should improve focus, increase energy, and stimulate thermogenesis.

1,3 Dimethylphentylamine hydrochloride is a different name for Dimethylamylamine (DMAA), which was banned in early 2012 by the FDA because it is a synthetic chemical; not a naturally derived geranium extract as claimed. Besides reducing appetite, this ingredient is supposed to increase energy and metabolism.

Is Phentramin-d Safe?

Since it contains a banned ingredient, Phentramin-d may not be as safe as the manufacturers say it is.

DMAA was originally banned by the US military after 2 soldiers died in 2011 after using a supplement with the substance. The army has also reported liver failure, kidney failure, and seizures caused by DMAA. Eventually, the FDA banned DMAA and popular products like Jack3d were reformulated without it.

Most of the problems caused by DMAA seem to result when users overdose on it. Because Phentramin-d uses DMAA in a proprietary blend, I’m not sure what amount is being used. I’m also not sure how much DMAA is considered “too much”.

I find it interesting that Phentramin-d makers claim to use only “safe ingredients” because there were reports of side effects and problems with DMAA several months before it was banned.

Has Phentramin-d Been FDA Approved?

Apparently, Phentramin-d has been approved by the FDA as an over-the-counter diet pill. But I’m not sure what the status of the manufacturer’s FDA approval is, now that DMAA has been banned.

Suggested Use

The recommended amount of Phentramin-d is two servings a day, which would give you 200 mg of 1,3,7 Trimethylxanthine and DMAA. According to the manufacturer, the best time to take these capsules is one at a time, 20 minutes before breakfast and lunch.

What Do Users Say?

I was able to find 44 customer reviews of Phentramin-d, but none of these were written within the last 2 years. On average, people gave the diet pill a rating of 9.4 out of 10, which is excellent. Then again, none of these reviews are current, so I’m not sure how reliable they are. In addition, 44 reviews is too small of a sample size for you to get an accurate idea of what people think.

The Cost and Guarantee

One bottle of Phentramin-d (1 month supply) costs $67 when you buy it online from the official website of the manufacturer Lazarus Labs.

Despite the fact that they are very confident about their product’s effectiveness and safety, Lazarus Labs does not have a return and refund policy. All sales are final.

Should You Buy Phentramin-d?

I’m not as confident as the Phentramin-d makers are that this diet pill is safe. The biggest reason is the recent ban on DMAA because it is linked to serious health problems and death. Phentramin-d may be effective; but if it’s not safe, it’s not worth the risk. Especially since there are powerful and safe diet pills like Phenphedrine to choose from.

Phenphedrine does not have harmful ingredients, but it does have a reputation for being very powerful and effective. Click here to visit www.phenphedrine.com and learn more.

I did lose about 8 lbs. in the first two weeks taking Phentramin-d, but I will say it upset my stomach when taken as directed. I then split the second pill in half (taken just before lunch), and it helped as far as my upset tummy, but now aren’t losing any weight, and have gained what I lost back. Not sure this is the pill for me.

You have to drink at least 8 fluid oz. of water with each pill, or else you may feel stomach pains, but with exercise (walking for an hour) I lost almost a pound a day. After about the first month, your body gets used to the pill, so there isn’t a reason to get more than a month’s worth of the drug. And it is NOT a miracle drug. You still have to reduce eating and increase exercise. It just speeds the process, and to keep the weight loss, you must maintain the lifestyle you were at. Look up your BMR, find calories to maintain. You can’t just go back to how it was.
