Ripped Fuel Review

width=Ripped Fuel, made by Twinlab, is a weight loss pill that claims to be a “thermogenic fat metabolizer and metabolic enhancer.” It also claims to stimulate fat loss and preserves lean body mass without ephedra.” Many will automatically deem it as credible because of the Twinlab name, but this review will try to look objectively at the ingredients to see if Ripped Fuel is all that it claims to be.

Ingredients

Bitter Orange – Contains synephrine which is an effective stimulant that has been proven to cause weight loss. Bitter Orange only contains synephrine in smaller amounts.

L-Phenylalanine – Has been shown to be an effective appetite suppressant.

Guarana - Has been shown to be effective in appetite suppression when combined with yerba mate and damiana. Ripped Fuel does not contain yerba mate or damiana.

Green Tea – Is a proven weight loss ingredient that increases the metabolic rate, helping you to lose weight.

Ginger Root – Ginger is believed to help with nausea, arthritis, and heart disease but has not been shown to contribute to weight loss.

Cayenne - Doesn’t contribute to weight loss.

The ingredients in Ripped Fuel look pretty good. We don’t really like that they include some of their ingredients in a proprietary blend, but what can you do.

Ripped Fuel’s Marketing

The Ripped Fuel page on Twinlab’s website is very basic and provides almost no information aside from the ingredients list a short sales blurb (that is repeated twice). We would have liked to have seen a little more explanation about how the product worked, but at least they avoid the hyped up marketing that most diet pills engage in.

Ripped Fuel’s Price

Around $28 per bottle on most internest sites.

Ripped Fuel’s Gaurantee

No guarantee

Conclusion

Quite a few ingredients in Ripped Fuel have been shown to aid in weight loss. They do use a proprietary blend which makes it very difficult for us to know if it will be effective or not. The price is quite reasonable (if the product actually works) but they have no guarantee. In all, Ripped Fuel gets a pretty neutral review.
