Riptek Summary

Does Riptek work?  It does..at least according to the manufacturers.

According to the makers, “Riptek’s unique adipokinetic matrix which increases your metabolism naturally by 12 times before during and after exercise as well as its ability to prevent fat storage and to increase your energy levels.” This claim is purportedly backed by a double-blind study. This sounds great but unfortunately several people have questioned the credibility of this purported study.

Is the clinical study that shows Riptek helping users lose up to 12X more calories legitimate?

Unfortunately there is no way of knowing because the results are no where to be found. The study was not published in any credible medical journal, nor are they listed on our website. This lack of disclosure is not a good sign. You would think that if the study was legitimate, it would be in their best interest to show us the results.

Riptek Ingredient Quality

Riptek is comprised of a proprietary blend. Proprietary blends are frustrating because there is no way of knowing how much of each ingredients is contained. Many diet pill companies use blends to hide the fact that they included their quality ingredients at low dosages. There are two proprietary blends in Riptek:

CapsiShred XII – Thermogenic Fat Loss Accelerator Complex 414mg

  • Capsimax Plus Blend – A Proprietary Blend Containing Caffeine Anhydrous, Capsimax Capsicum Fruit Extract And Piperine (Black Pepper Fruit Extract))
  • Glucomannan
  • Nicotinoyl-GABAm Picamilon
  • Berberine HCL

Capsimax is a solid weight loss ingredient (although it must be combined with other effective ingredients if you want results). Its main ingredient is red hot peppers, which can help boost the metabolism. The problem with Riptek is that capsimax is just one of four ingredients sharing 400 milligrams, so it is unlikely that there is a sufficient dosage of capsimax to make a difference. The other three ingredients are nothing to write home about. Glucomannan will help suppress your appetite, but needs a higher dosage to make a difference.

Adipotex C3G – Proprietary Targeted Lipolytic Complex – 50mg

  • Purple Corn
  • Acai Berry Extract
  • Resveratrol

50 milligrams of any of these ingredients won’t make a difference in your weight loss efforts, much less 50 milligrams split between the three ingredients so don’t expect anything from these ingredients.

Riptek Marketing

On the bright side Riptek does not have any autoship or free trial scams. Riptek even claims to be backed by a clinical study. Unfortunately, as we mentioned earlier, the results of this study are not published. With such a big claim (losing 12X more calories), the fact that the company fails to disclose the results make us skeptical especially considering the study was not published in any credible medical journal. 

Riptek Guarantee

We were unable to find a money back guarantee with Riptek. Just because a diet pill does not have a guarantee doesn’t mean that it won’t work, but it does little to instill any confidence. If a manufacturer is unwilling to back up its product with their wallet, why should you?

Summary

Riptek may work like their “purported clinical study”, but we wouldn’t count on it. With a lackluster ingredient profile, Riptek is lacking in potency.
