Slim 10 is one of the few diet pills that has based its ingredient profile on a great list of quality, patented ingredients. According their website, they are the “first and only diet pill to combine all 10 of the world’s most effective clinically proven weight loss ingredients.” Whether or not the 10 ingredients included are THE 10 most effective ingredients is debatable, but Slim 10 does have some pretty good ones in there.

Also, “In addition to these ten unsurpassed ingredients, each serving of Slim 10® contains 500mg of Real South African Hoodia concentrated 20 times for maximum potency.” This is rather unfortunate as hoodia is probably the worst diet pill ingredient on the market, not because of its danger, but because it does absolutely nothing for you despite all the hype lately. It appears Slim 10 tagged on hoodia in hopes to borrow some attention from the hype surrounding hoodia. This diet pill review will give try to give you a good look at Slim 10 so you can decide for youself if it may work for you.

Ingredients

ChromeMate – ChromeMate (an oxygen-coordinated niacin-bound form of chromium) is designed to promote weight loss through regulation of blood sugar levels.

Super Citrimax – Has been shown to be an effective appetite suppressant.

Ingredient Update: The FDA has issued a warning against Hydroxycut-branded products for possibly causing health problems related with the liver. While the FDA has not confirmed it, some believe that the ingredient behind the problems is Hyrdoxycitric Acid, or HCA. HCA is found in Garcinia Cambogia. Super Citrimax does contain HCA. So until more definitive research is done, we are no longer recommending any products that contain the ingredient Hyrdoxycitric Acid. Phase 2 – Phase 2 is a starch neutralizer which helps to block calories. While by itself it may not cause direct weight loss, it is a good supplement to other good ingredients.

NeOpuntia - A fiber complex that binds with fat and makes it unable to be absorbed in your inestines. The fat is hence passed through the body naturally without being absorbed.

Advantra Z - Contains synephrine which has been shown in some studies to be an effective stimulant. Some warn of side effects common with stimulants.

Slimaluma - Designed to be an appetite suppressant, I was unable to find much research on Slimaluma.

CarniPure - A patented form of L-carnitine. We are doubtful that this patented form is any better than regular old L-carnitine. As of yet, there is no research that shows that it aids in weight loss.

ForsLean – Clinical studies and research has shown that ForsLean helps to reduce body weight and body fat.

Tonalin CLA – Reduces body fat. CLA is one of the few diet pill ingredients that is actually supported by a large amount of clinical research.

7-Keto – Studies show it is effective in weight loss, but some warn of side effects such as heart palpitations.

Gordonilex – Slim 10′s name for their version of hoodia gordonii. They claim that it is 20 times the potentcy of regular hoodia. No matter how you slice it, hoodia is worthless. 20 x 0 still equals 0.

Slim 10 has definitely included some quality diet pill ingredients. They also have a few filler ingredients meant to fool you. But overall, the ingredient profile is good. They do, of course, use a proprietary blend which hides the amounts of each ingredient. This makes it difficult to say whether or not each ingredient will be effective.

Slim 10′s Marketing

We like that they have a clear focus on ingredients throughout their website. They do have a few questionable before and after photos, but all in all it seems to have less hype than some that we’ve seen. We don’t however like that they’re touting hoodia as another of their miracle ingredients. They did pretty good up until that point.

Slim 10′s Price

$75 for a one month supply. This is pretty pricey. You are getting patented ingredients (which cost more), but just because their patented doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re better.

They have a 90 day money back guarantee. We like to see at least 90 days in a guarantee. You also have to pay a restocking fee of about $8. Little steap I would say.

Conclusion

Slim 10 touts a pretty impressive ingredient profile with the exception of a handful of ingredients. They throw hoodia in (trying to capitalize on its popularity) which makes us like them less. Their price is pretty expensive (Anoretix has similar ingredients for a lower price) and their guarantee is so so. Slim will probably help you lose weight, but there are also probably a couple better alternatives for you out there in terms of ingredients, price and guarantee. A pretty neutral review goes to Slim 10.
