Slimage is yet another diet pill that is trying to capitalize on hoodia. This company goes as far as to say that they have the most pure South African hoodia and that this diet pill is based on a European formula. Please. Haven’t we heard all of this before?

Hoodia Gordonii-The latest fad ingredient for diet pills. Supporters of Hoodia claim that it was used as an appetite suppressant by the South African natives for hundreds of years. Some credible sources, however, say that it was actually used for indigestion. To date I have yet to find one single clinical study that supports hoodia gordonii’s claim to aid in weight loss. There are plenty of fabricated “studies” out there, but not one of them is documented or independently performed.

Alpha Lipoic Acid-While alpha lipoic acid is an essential anti-oxidant, having more than your body already produces isn’t likely to do you much good.

Collagen-Good for your skin; worthless for weight loss.

How do they fit all those ingredients into one little pill?

The answer to this question is that they do it by only including trace amount of each ingredient. This means that even though Slimage does have a few effective ingredients, there is no way to tell how much of each one is included in a capsule. There is simply no way to include effective amounts of each of these ingredients in one little pill. Nice try though, Slimage.

Slimage’s Marketing

In the fine print one the Slimage website, there is information about how to cancel an autoship order. However, there is no information anywhere on the site that talks about signing up for automatic shipments. How convenient, right? What this says to me right off the bat is that this company wants to get your credit card and sign you up for multiple shipments without your knowledge.

This company claims that Slimage was “doctor formulated,” but offers no additional information. A man named Dr. Lawrence Baker supposedly endorses this product, but the only credential next to his name is “medical doctor.” OK, what kind of medical doctor is he? Where did he go to school? Is he currently practicing? My guess is that “Dr. Baker” is just a figment of this company’s imagination. This company provides us with absolutely no solid research to back up any of their claims.

Slimage is packed full of ingredients but packs no weight-loss punch at all. The fact that this company does not disclose the amount of ingredients and offers no guarantee most likely means that they have something to hide. There is no point to waste your money on Slimage-it won’t help you lose weight!
