Thinfat Diet Pill Review
We're often asked if we ever rate a diet pill positively. The answer is that we do (rarely). Why don't we recommend Thinfat? We're looking for clinicallly-researched ingredients, at the clinical dosage. There are a few diet pills that have chosen to take this high road, and our favorite is PatenTrim. You can read our review or go to the official site.
Thinfat claims to be “Nature’s Stimulant-Free Natural Fat Burner!” Aside from that redundant phrase, does thinfat offer anything unique in terms of a weight loss solution? Thinfat banks on the inclusion of CLA, a proven ingredient that helps to reduce body fat, but fails to disclose how much they include in the product. Sound familiar? Its because nearly all other weight loss products are doing the same exact thing. Making their wallets fatter and not making you an thinner.
Thinfat Ingredients
- CLA
- Flax Seed Oil
- Medium Chain Triglycerides
- Polyunsaturated Fatty Acid
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Phosphatidylserine
- SesaTrim
- Vitamin E
- Mixed Tocopherols
CLA - CLA, or Conjugated Linoleic Acid, is claimed to reduce body fat while at the same time preserve muscle. While there is some bonafied research backing up this cliam, Thinfat doesn’t disclose how much they actually include in the supplement. My guess is that it isn’t very much as CLA can often get pretty pricey.
The other ingredients can be found in many foods that you’ll normally eat often. Is Thinfat beneficial because it provides some of these nutrients? Sure. But is Thinfat going to help you drastically lose wieght by including them? Not likely. The one ingredient that would really be effective in weight loss is the CLA, which is why Thinfat focuses so heavily on that ingredient (and for good reason). Being that they don’t tell you how much of it they’ve included, we can’t say that it will be effective. We would have to compare it to the studied amounts. Thinfat doesn’t allow us to do so.
Thinfat’s Marketing
Their website is rather unhelpful, providing the claimed benefits to Thinfat but without giving us any real information on the ingredients or the research behind them. They claim that over “500 clinical studies support the effectiveness of THINFAT CLA triglyceride” and they fail to cite even one of them. Sounds fishy to me. CLA is supported by research, but I highly doubt that Thinfat itself has been under the scrutiny of even a few clinical studies. As a side note, I found a few typos on their website. Not crucial, but indicative of the company behind the supplement.
Thinfat’s Price
$29.95 per bottle which should last you about a month if you choose to use the minimal dosage that they recommend. The recommended dosage is 1/2 to 3/2 tablespoons per day. That seems like a pretty big spread in dosage amounts.
Thinfat’s Guarantee
No guarantee is mentioned on the website.
Conclusion
Thinfat appears to be yet another wieght loss supplement that uses the same old sales tactic: include one ingredient that has been clinically proven to be effective and use a proprietary blend so that you don’t have to disclose how much of that ingredient is included in the actual product. Hence they are able to put minimal amounts of the expensive ingredient in, and make much more money when the product is sold. Spend your money elsewhere on something that you know exactly what you are getting. Two thumbs down for Thinfat.
