Venom Hyperdrive Diet Pill Review

With a name like Venom Hyperdrive you’ve got to wonder if this diet pill is intentionally trying to sound dangerous (after all, venom is poisionous), or just sexy and fast like a racecar. Fortunately none of the ingredients in this diet pill live up to it’s name (no venom in the mix). In fact, the ingredients aren’t nearly as exciting as the name suggests.

Venom Hyperdrive Ingredients

Venom Hyperdrives “Unique Proprietary Matrix” contains 400 mg of ingredients including:

Cocoamine
Hoodia gordonii
• R-ALA
5-HTP
• Guggul Extract
• Rhodiola Rosea
Tyrosine
Carnitine
• Vitaberine
• Red Pepper Extract

Cocoamine™: Cocoamine is marketed as a proprietary “cocoa extract that provides the health benefits of chocolate without any of the unhealthy ingredients.” Cocoa-based extracts are fairly common in fat burners. Cocoa contains “xanthines” (caffeine and caffeine related compounds) and biogenic-amines (like phenylethylamine and tyramine) which may have a positive effect on metabolism. However this is not yet any credible evidence demonstrating it is an effective ingredient in a weight loss pill.

Hoodia gordonii: This over-hyped “appetite suppressant” is not only an endangered species that is very difficult to obtain (which means that there is probably little to no real hoodia in most pills) but it also hasn’t been shown to be particularly effective.

R-ALA: A natural form of alpha lipoic acid. R-ALA may act as an insulin moderator, which would theoretically help stabilize blood sugar  that can lead to carbohydrate cravings.

5-HTP: Can increase serotonin levels. There is some evidence 5-HTP may have an effect on appetite, with a significantly high dose. However, it’s very unlikely such a dosage is present in Hyperdrive due to the relatively small amount of the proprietary blend.

Guggul Extract: There is some evidence that this ingredient has thyroid-stimulating properties, which may assist the body in losing weight.

Tyrosine: An amino acid that helps cells to synthesize proteins.  Some studies have shown that L-Tyrosine may be effective in weight loss.

The other ingredients, Rhodiola rosea root, carnitine, vitaberine and red pepper extract may offer some health benefits but have not been shown to be directly related to weight loss.

Venom Hyperdrive Marketing

Aside from the flashy name, Venom Hyperdrive’s marketing isn’t as ridiculous as most sites. The fact that they focus on the quality of their ingredients instead of photo-shopped before and after pictures is a positive. In our opinion, a company that doesn’t resort to gimmicky marketing is probably more trustworthy when it comes to the quality of their ingredients as well.

Venom Hyperdrive Price

At $ 74.99 a bottle this is one of the pricier diet pills out there, however it seems pretty easy to get this at a steeply discounted rate online.

Venom Hyperdrive Guarantee

No official money-back guarantee

Conclusion

Like many diet pills Venom Hyperdrive has a few decent ingredients and some worthless ones. Unfortunately with a mere 400 mg of “proprietary ingredients” there likely isn’t enough of even the good ingredients to make much of a difference. Plus, they don’t have a money back guarantee.  We suggest you find a diet pill with more proven ingredients at fully disclosed amounts.
