Garlic has been shown to have numerous health benefits. The benefits that we’re interested in, however, are those that relate to weight loss. So has garlic been proven to help you lose weight? Well, the jury is still out on that one.
There have been countless studies on the effects of garlic. Many of which show garlic to have helped in lowering cholesterol levels. A few of those studies, however, seem to contradict those findings.
One thing that garlic has been shown to do is to help regulate blood sugar levels (many believe it to help those suffering from diabetes). This actually can help in weight loss, but does it cause you to lose wieght? No.
While garlic may have many side health benefits, it’s not likely to do much for you in terms of wieght loss (by itself). As with many diet pill ingredients, garlic would be a plus if it were included in a diet pill as a complimentary ingredient, but is definitely not the solution for your weight loss plan.
